the tulip realm is a perennial dreamscape, a place i will always return to, an endless bloom… place for hearts to heal, hope, hibernate,
a place for roots to deep and soil to richen,
a place to keep growing up

this book is a collection of drawings, words, photos, and collages i made over one trip around the sun during 2023, navigating heart break, grief, delusions, accepting change, dreams, working at a grocery store, flowers, the love of my friends, my family, my cat, hope, and finding myself again…

what to hold on to, what to let go of…
you will enter many portals and spirals here,
you will face many knots of ribbon, tears, and worms…
but we are brave, it will be okay

tulip realm is one of the most personal and raw projects i have ever worked on and explored, this is a piece of me, one of many petals plucked from my heart, and while its only a fraction of what ive felt and created in this time, i believe it does encapsulate a time for myself.. and feels big and brave to share with the world but… i think that’s an important feeling, thank you to anyone who reads this or sees me or connects in any way…
